Georgia Researchers

Mary Sweeney-Reeves is originally from Kentucky and holds a B. S. in Environmental Science (Morehead State University) and an M. S. in Aquatic Biology (Murray State University). She has eight years of research experience working for the University of Georgia at the Shellfish Research & Aquaculture Laboratory, the Department of Botany, the Marine Science Department, and the Department of Food and Nutrition. In addition, she has four years of teaching experience at Savannah State University, the Marine Education Center and Aquarium, Jekyll/Tybee Island 4-H centers, and other environmental education centers. She is currently working at the Shellfish Aquaculture Laboratory as an Aquatic Biologist / Educator.
