about a scientist and relate their work to the
scientific method, produce a first-hand biography, a
resume´, and a video advertising the researched career.
The focus of this unit is to observe, discuss, and learn
about some of the different careers in oceanography.

writing portfolio which will demonstrate their ability
to write in a number of different forms including being
